The design balances romantic references with a contemporary architectural sensibility, combining natural stone, warm lighting, bespoke brass detailing and carefully curated vintage accessories to create a space that feels timeless rather than themed. A circular porthole-style window within the shower introduces a subtle sense of nostalgia, recalling coastal architecture and life by the water, while the suggestion of a garden beyond the room creates the illusion of a wider landscape beyond.
Every element was custom designed for the scheme, from the stonework and shower enclosure to the mirrors and furniture. Working closely with Ca’ Pietra, we pushed the possibilities of stone craftsmanship through profiled architectural details and sculptural forms. Vintage Murano glass, French grooming accessories and collected objects add layers of history and character, reinforcing the feeling that this is a room that has quietly evolved over decades, gathering treasures and memories along the way.
