de Rosee & Sa project achieves record price
de Rosee & Sa were the architects on this top floor
maisonette in Notting Hill. The property was sold recently and achieved a
record cost for the road of £1,112 per sq. ft. We obtained planning for
a mansard level, which doubled the floor space and we were also invited
to design bespoke pieces of furniture. Construction started in
September 2010 and was completed in April 2011.

de Rosee & Sa shortlisted for RIBA Competition 2011
de Rosee & Sa`s `A bit of Peace and Quiet` entry has been
shortlisted for the 2011 RIBA Forgotten Spaces competition. The site is
located on the Holland Park Roundabout in West London. The design
consists of a hidden public garden with a pool in the centre. The
concept aims to diffuse the busy and noisy aspects of the site and
encourage a bit of peace and quiet.
Our scheme is one of 28
selected projects from an open competition of 198 entries. Our work is
to be exhibited at Somerset House and the winner is to be announced on
the 19th October 2011.

Dalling Road project reaches completion

In March 2010, we
were appointed as the architects for the full
refurbishment of a 2,278 sq. ft. Victorian property on Dalling Road in
Hammersmith. The addition of a 125 sq. ft. rear extension with large
glazing created a spacious, light-filled kitchen and dining area. The
demolition phase began in September 2010 and the works were completed
April 2011.
